1. Acceptance
The service is developed and operated by FANG GUOHAO, an individual developer, under the Baiboki brand. By using the website or app, you agree to these Terms and the applicable Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, stop using the service.
The current iOS release is for people aged 18 and over and is not distributed in mainland China's App Store. Third-party AI also requires compliance with its age, regional and account conditions. A store rating does not mean that the app verifies age or identity.
2. Service and license
Baiboki provides local utilities, translation, travel information, lightweight entertainment and optional AI connections. We grant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for lawful personal use. Features may vary by platform, device, region and network.
3. Your content
You remain responsible for content you enter, store or submit and for having the right to process it. Most content stays on device. It is sent only when you initiate a connected feature such as BYOK, a hosted AI service, system speech, or support email. Do not submit passwords, complete payment-card details, unauthorized third-party data, or unnecessary sensitive information.
4. Translation, AI and assisted results
Translation, speech recognition, OCR, AI conversation or summaries, travel copy, travel information, random decisions, and other results may be wrong, outdated, incomplete, or unsuitable. Back-translation is a checking aid, not a guarantee. Review output before sharing, turning it into a task, or acting on it. Verify authoritative sources and seek qualified advice for medical, legal, visa, contract, financial, and safety matters.
5. Bring Your Own Key
An API you configure is billed and processed by its third-party Provider. A BYOK Provider is actively selected by you and connected directly from your device over HTTPS. Baiboki does not store your third-party key, but remains responsible for the app-side sending flow, prominent notice, safeguards, and authorization.
Review the first-send notice for the Provider, Host, data, purpose, privacy policy, and possible overseas processing. You may withdraw one Provider’s sending consent without deleting its local key; the notice will appear again before the next request.
6. Free, lifetime Pro, AI credits, and AI subscription
The app is free to download. Free includes core tools; lifetime Pro is a one-time purchase of the local advanced features and higher limits listed on the purchase page, without unlimited hosted AI. AI credits pay per request and do not unlock Pro local features. An active AI subscription includes Pro local benefits and cycle credits without a separate Pro purchase. After expiry, separately purchased lifetime Pro and purchased credits remain. Basic BYOK needs no subscription; advanced-workflow BYOK requires an active AI subscription, or you can use valid credits for hosted AI.
iOS offers lifetime Pro, 1,000 / 3,000 / 10,000 credit packs, and monthly and annual subscriptions. Base USD prices are US$24.99, US$1.69, US$4.69, US$14.99, US$1.99/month and US$21.99/year respectively; the App Store confirmation sheet determines the actual currency, taxes and price. Monthly subscriptions provide 500 credits per eligible monthly cycle. Annual subscriptions provide 600 credits in each monthly cycle anchored to the purchase date, rather than the first of each calendar month. Cycle credits do not roll over and annual credits are not granted all at once. Purchase availability depends on the regional store; the first iOS release is not distributed in mainland China's App Store.
iOS digital purchases use Apple StoreKit; Android purchases use Google Play Billing. Baiboki receives product IDs, transaction and original transaction identifiers, transaction dates, environment, state and necessary account or installation credentials for verification. Apple purchases include signed transaction and subscription information; Google Play purchases include a purchaseToken. Only valid, server-verified transactions grant access; pending purchases do not unlock early. Restoration, duplicate-grant prevention, refund and revocation records can be linked to your account. A signed entitlement cache is stored locally and revalidated. Baiboki does not receive full payment-card details.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the price and interval shown by the store. Manage or cancel through the app's subscription-management entry or Apple / Google Play account settings; cancellation normally stops later renewal after the current paid period. Store refunds and revocations can remove the corresponding access or unused balance. Restore lifetime Pro and subscriptions with the original store account; purchased-credit balances are recovered with your Baiboki account, without a new grant on each restore.
An eligible lifetime-Pro purchase includes a 500-credit AI gift activated manually, once per valid purchase. It expires after 30 consecutive days or depletion. The gift remains with the activating installation through normal updates, but is not transferred or restored after a device change, app-data clearing or reinstall. It never auto-renews; expiry does not affect lifetime Pro.
Expiry of a subscription does not require repurchasing separately owned lifetime-Pro local features. Bug fixes, security, accessibility and baseline reliability are not paywalled benefits. Account deletion does not automatically cancel store subscriptions; manage renewal in the app or the original store. 7. Acceptable use
- Do not use Baiboki for unlawful, fraudulent, harassing, infringing or harmful acts.
- Do not attack services, distribute malware, or bypass payment or security controls.
- Do not abuse automated requests, another person’s API key, or support channels.
- Use alarm, flashing-light, sound, sensor and game features with attention to your surroundings and safety.
8. Third-party services
App stores, Cloudflare, Apple's iOS frameworks, Android Google ML Kit, system speech services, Alibaba Cloud Model Studio and your selected BYOK provider process their services under their own terms and policies. Baiboki remains responsible for the in-app sending flow, notice, safeguards and authorization, but cannot guarantee continued availability, free access or error-free operation. Google Gemini unpaid services may use inputs and outputs for product improvement and human review; do not submit personal, sensitive or confidential information. Paid services may still retain content for safety and legal purposes. Comply with provider age, regional and use restrictions.
AI allowance rules
Trial, subscription-cycle and purchased balances are separate: the trial lasts 30 days after activation; cycle allowance resets without rollover; purchased credits survive subscription expiry and are recoverable with the account. The earliest-expiring valid allowance is used first, then purchased credits. BYOK never spends Baiboki credits.
9. Updates, changes and termination
We may update, limit, or discontinue features for security, compatibility, compliance, or product reasons. Introducing a new subscription will not by itself charge again for already purchased lifetime-Pro local features. Particular online services may reasonably change because of providers, law, safety, or cost, with notice required by applicable rules. Online services may be temporarily unavailable because of connectivity, maintenance, or third-party service status. We may limit online services for serious violations, security risks, or legal requirements.
10. Intellectual property and liability
Except for user and third-party content, the Baiboki name, icons, software, interface and original content are legally protected. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We are not liable beyond mandatory law for indirect loss caused by networks, devices, third parties, incorrect input, unverified results or unbacked-up local data. Nothing excludes non-waivable consumer rights or liability.
11. Law, changes and contact
These Terms do not exclude mandatory consumer rights where you live. Please first contact support@baiboki.com about a dispute. We may update these Terms when features, business models or law change and will provide appropriate notice.
