Scope and operator

Local travel information
Trips, checklists, bookings, addresses, attachments, photos, recordings, moments and preferences are stored in app-private files or local databases. Saved content can be viewed without signing in. Not all files are encrypted; protect your device with a screen lock. Deletion, clearing app data or uninstalling may be irreversible. Export a backup first.
Identity verification for the private profile
When you open the encrypted private profile, the app asks the system to verify you with the device passcode or available biometrics. The device system performs verification; the app receives only a success, cancellation or failure result and does not read or store fingerprint or face templates or your device passcode. Verification does not upload the profile or replace account sign-in.
Accounts and credits
You may use a Baiboki family email account and password. Sign-in, email verification, password reset and credit queries connect over HTTPS to api.baiboki.com. The account service processes email, password hashes, verification and sessions, security logs and request identifiers. Device secure storage protects login tokens. BaiboTrip credits and usage have a separate account ledger; signing in does not automatically sync travel data. Signing out keeps server credits.
AI and connected features you choose
Your own AI API or account credit AI sends the text, conversation and authorized images needed for the selected task over HTTPS to the chosen provider. The provider and data scope are shown before sending; photo uploads require separate explicit permission. Uploads may be temporarily held by the server or object storage for the selected task. Personal API keys use device secure storage. Providers process requests under their policies and may charge fees.
Permissions and components
Document and photo pickers open when you import. Microphone access is for recordings you start, camera access for photos you take, and notifications for local reminders you set. Shared native modules include on-device text recognition and translation; language models download when requested. System speech and external maps may use their own connections. The components and permissions list describes these functions.
Backup, sharing and migration
Backups may include private bookings, addresses, photos and recordings. Import only trusted backups. Migration uses files you choose; it does not read another app’s private directory or include API keys, login or purchase credentials. External links, maps and sharing recipients process the content you choose to give them under their policies.
Your choices and deletion
You can view and manually save local travel information without accounts or AI, and withdraw connected consent in settings. Local deletion does not delete exported backups or shared copies. Deleting the shared account disables it in every Baiboki family app, signs out devices and makes remaining credits unavailable; account email is de-identified and necessary accounting and security records remain. Ask us or the respective AI provider about data already received by that provider.
Updates and offline reading
Official pages and legal/baibotrip.json are the content source. When you open a policy, the app checks the official version and saves an offline copy. Network failures use a validated cached or bundled copy, and older versions cannot replace newer ones. Updates do not automatically grant new permissions or upload consent.
