React Native / Expo
Provide UI, system document and photo selection, camera, audio and local notifications. Camera and microphone permissions are requested for the relevant feature. File selection imports only selected items.
AsyncStorage / Expo File System / SecureStore
Preferences and structured records stay on the device; documents and media use app-private files. API keys and login tokens use native secure storage. This does not mean all travel files are encrypted.
Google ML Kit (Android)
Shared native modules provide on-device OCR and translation. Language models download on request. On-device recognition and translation do not themselves mean travel information is uploaded to AI.
Account and AI services
Accounts and credits connect to api.baiboki.com. Hosted AI or personal APIs receive task content you confirm; authorized images may pass through task storage. The actual provider and scope are shown before sending. Installing the app does not enable AI by default.
System speech, maps and sharing
System speech is handled by the device provider; some voices require downloads. You open external maps, browsers and sharing recipients, which process supplied content under their policies.
Permission purposes
Notifications: local reminders. Microphone: recordings you start. Camera: photos you take. Files and photos: selected imports. Network: permitted account, AI and model download features. Refusal affects the related function; saved information remains locally available.
Identity verification for the private profile
android / ios
Android uses system BiometricPrompt or device credentials and declares USE_BIOMETRIC. iOS uses LocalAuthentication, including Face ID when available. Verification is requested only when you open the private profile; cancelling leaves it closed.
